Retreats & Workshops

Retreats have been created for general participation or for specific groups:

High School or College students … Married Couples … Addiction Recovery Groups … Liturgical Ministers (or all volunteers within a parish) … Clergy.

 

Themes:

Themes from Parish Missions are woven together in a retreat format, including small group discussions as well as time for individual and group prayer.

Liturgical Ministers:  A popular half-day retreat for Liturgical Ministers in a parish:

Presentations:

  • “And Their Eyes Were Open.” (Eucharist … What we believe.)
  • “The Opportunity of a Lifetime.” (Service … How important their ministry is to the church.)
  • “Hospitality” (Welcoming, the heart of ministry.)

A variety of additional themes can be offered according to local needs.

 

Developing small faith sharing communities:

This workshop is practical and instructional with the goal of enabling a community to begin and develop the ministry of small faith-sharing groups.
